Hello and welcome! We are an ultra-super-excited soon-to-be-married couple, just starting our wedding planning journey.
We wanted to keep a record of our everyday moments together and share useful tips and real experiences with others going through the same stage in life.
Here, you’ll find stories about our relationship, wedding preparations, everyday happiness, and even our life with our adorable dog, Gureum! 🐶
What Does “Daran” Mean?
You might be wondering, “Why Daran Couple?” (Or maybe you’re not—but we’ll tell you anyway 😄).
“Daran” comes from my fiancé’s cute nickname for me, “Dami,” combined with the Korean word “doran-doran,” which means chatting warmly together.
It perfectly describes us—always talking, laughing, and sharing.
While we’re “Daran Couple” now, we imagine that in the future we’ll grow into Daran Husband & Wife, Daran Family, and maybe even Daran Home.
Our blog will also grow, covering not just dating and wedding planning, but newlywed life, home decor, family, and beyond.
How We Met
We first met through a mutual friend (I’ll introduce that amazing friend another time 😉).
From the very first conversation to our first date and beyond, everything happened so naturally and quickly.
Even now, we find it amazing how well our personalities, values, and lifestyles match.
We truly understood what it means to “be on the same wavelength.”
And now, here we are—just about to begin our wedding preparations!
What We’ll Share on This Blog
We’ve only been dating for two months, but next week, we’ll take our first big step—introducing our families to each other.
From that moment on, it’s full wedding-prep mode!
